Gundam Wing : Episodes 8 - 12

Instead of setting this up as an essay, like I did last time, instead, while I was watching the episodes 8-12, I just kinda wrote whatever came to mind. So below you'll get a great diversity of stuff, you'll get quotes, comments and analysis. Lucky you! ^_^
Episode 8
Wufei and Trowa's 2 second conversation:
2 hours of silence.
"...." Trowa.
Wufei. "...."
Trowa, (pours coffee.) "This may not be the best Java."
Wufei. "... I have no right piloting the Nataku."
Trowa "... oh yeah?"
Wufei, (takes cup.) "Thank you."
Followed by more silence. I laughed.
I think it's absolutely hilarious how Duo doesn't mind one bit that Relena just showed up at the school they were staying at.
Duo: "Hey good looking! ... well, I guess we'd better head to class!"
Heero: *glower*
Relena: *swoon*
Episode 9
*Marie spazzes randomly at Wufei for telling his Gundam to denounce him.* "It can't hear you! It's a mobile suit!!"
Episode 10
Lady Une is a *itch from hell.
Oh... I'm suddenly realizing that Gundam Wing is a war anime. *rolls eyes* No, it's good though. I don't mind at all. (I liked Venus Wars & stuff, so... ^_^)
Heero is absolutely frieking amazing. He just self-destructed, while standing on his Gundam, went flying off of it, and lived. Opps, I forgot it's a cartoon.
Trowa: "lalala... I'll just pick up this apparently dead body in the massive metal hand of my Gundam... lalala... and I'll just keep him in the massive metal hand of my Gundam for a while... lalala..."
In regards to Quatre's reaction to Heero's self-destruct; there is definitely something wrong with the guy. *Is concerned* Either that, or there is something very, very right. ^_^
Episode 11
... Why the heck do they say in the beginning credits who sung and performed the ending credits for the Japanese version when they cut out the ending credits song for the English version anyway? (did you get that?) And on the same note, why the heck are the titles of the episodes still in Japanese??? Along with the advertisement eyecatch?? And...
Lady Une has problems. Quatre is a prince of sorts. (surprise, surprise.)
Relena: "That rose doesn't suit her one bit." *Must... turn off... TV*
*Marie bursts into song* "Relena's got a gun..."
So (sorta) like something that would happen in today's world: Relena (a pacifist) tries to assassinate a Nazi like person (Lady Une) in Moscow. So not: All of the Middle East is UNITED (*gasp, choke*) against OZ.
Awe! Quatre and Duo look so cute and little! ^_^
Rashid is cool.
YAY! Noin's a good guy!
Episode 12
mmm... hot Heero moment... (when Trowa first walks into the room.)
(During the Sally fighting bits...) You know... *Marie pauses significantly* I'm beginning to REALLY like Gundam wing. Like really like the plot, the characters... wow! What a cool anime. *Gains new appreciation for Gundam Wing* I mean the show is the chronicle of a WAR, every nation is involved, everybody plays a part. Not one character is perfect, everyone has their faults. Gundam Wing is human. It's also a guy anime (despite the large on-line female following)... I can't believe that I'm enjoying it for the qualities that make it a guy anime. *smiles*
All right, Sally Po is officially one cool chick in my books.
(When Sally goes down during restaurant brawl and Wufei comes flying in) *YEAH!!* ALL RIGHT WUFEI!!!
*glares at TV* Okay, you guys are using Duo's voice actor to do everyone minor's voices aren't you? AREN'T YOU??!
Ohhh... *Marie shivers* Suspense, intrigue, blackmail, back-stabbing, traitors... Man, this is an awesome anime!
THE Quote of this part of anime watching: Sally PO: "It's happened again, I repeat, a senseless war by senseless people."
Direct Heero Quote: "There is nothing wrong with acting on your emotions... at least that was what I was taught." Okay, either there was something major lost in the translations, or someone is friekin' messed! Heero?? Emotions???
(Marie hauls out her Japanese episode 13 to watch the beginning flashback sub-titled.) Ah. This is what he was supposed to say: "I'd like to act on my feelings, but I was taught to be this way." Talk about meaning something totally different by switching only a couple of words.
mmm... hot Trowa moment, at the very very end of the episode.
Okay that's it for now. Marie is addicted now, so I hope Reid tapes more soon!
